We knew it would happen one day and that day is now.  Arielle and Rachel have decided to pack their bags and move into a couple storefront windows on Main Street for 5 days and 4 nights.  Yup...they'll be sleeping, talking on the phone, checking their e-mail etc from the windows of 100 East Main from today until Sunday the 28th.  They'll also be making art, writing, playing charades with passer-bys, throwing a tea party, and a dance party, and making audio and video recordings...among other things.  They've put a tremendous amount of time and effort into this already.  Maybe you've read their mission statement, rules, and schedule on their blogs.  They've got big plans for this amazing project/adventure so please stop by and visit them.  I'm sure they would love to see you!

In other news...Derya hosted another succesful Open Knit on Tuesday and is headed to the Fiber Fest on Friday.  Nicholas is planning figure drawing classes.  E-mail him if you want to sign up...classes start in November.  Pretty much...we're truckin' along with lots of art-making.

While storefront window preparations have been the main focus the last few days, we're also getting geared up for the HUB-BUB Halloween party.  Thanks to Jean and Ishi for all of your hard work in helping to plan this event.  We'll be decorating The Showroom all weekend.  You should come help us celebrate Halloween during this year's "Nightmare before Dickens of a Christmas."  When is it?...ON Halloween...believe it or not.
