I love this time of year. No doubt, it’s hot and there are mosquitoes EVERYWHERE but the days are still long and you can hear kids playing outside well past dusk. The office took Friday off – I headed to West Virginia to get beat up by the rocks and trees at Snow Shoe. Claudia, Esteban, and Jameelah enjoyed fireworks and vegetarian bbq in Sparkle City. Greg ventured off to Asheville to catch up with friends. Now it’s back to the grind……and by grind I mean HubBubblin which is really not grindy at all.

I wanted to make a quick shout out to Brad Steinecke for giving the AIRs and me a fabulous historical tour of downtown Spartanburg last week. Brad knows his stuff and filled us in on the history of fires, mayors, ghosts, libations, buildings, mud, horses and trains, and everything else you can cram into an hour and a half. Thank you Brad. Happenings this week include makin’ art and getting geared up for the Smack Down. Look out.
