That’s right…you can see this lovely painting that’s hanging on Gregory’s wall plus many more live on Friday night in The Showroom. There will be large and beautiful paintings by Gregory Bae, exciting and colorful prints by Claudia Dishon, and revolution inspired charcoal drawings extraordinaire by Esteban del Valle. Jameelah will tell you about her family, and then read to you at 8pm. This show is not to be missed SO…don’t miss it! It’s fun, it’s free, it’s downtown. There will be art on the walls and literature in the air. 7-9pm…be there or be square.

Last week was a great week. Thank you Sam, Andrew, and Jonas for bringing your students from the Converse summer art/writing camp to HUB-BUB last Monday to meet the artists. It was really nice to hear about the residents’ work and to visit their apartments. AIRs spent the rest of the week getting ready for the Entry Show. The weekend was spent at Music Camp and at Spartanburg’s first Pride Parade. A lot of good stuff happenin’ all over this great little city.
