Wow…so…I had an amazing trip to Providence last week. Thank you Caitlin and Allan and everyone at the Alliance of Artist Communities. Thanks to the good folks at RISD and AS220 too. What an inspiring visit! I had a whirlwind 2 days that included portfolio reviews and a residency program panel discussion at RISD, a meeting with RISD’s director of public engagement, and a tour of AS220. Thanks to the Alliance for facilitating it all and for all that you do for residency programs like the one here at HUB-BUB! And…for providing such nice weather. Couldn’t have been a better trip…

All is well on the home front. The AIRs are packing up. Can’t believe it. Sarah’s veggie running bus is in the parking lot. She, Ian, the bus, and some tipis are headed to Greensboro for a couple days of Earth Day programs. Patrick is plugging away at Wofford. Ellie and Jonas are helping with Kudzu Koaltion stuff. Sarah helped hang the Boys and Girls Club photo exhibit in The Showroom today. Good work BGC…wow! That’s it for now. I’m rushing out to a City Council meeting. We need their support so if you have a chance – let them know that you love the HUB!
