Nightmare Before Dickens of a Christmas
Well...the girls are out of the box.  They came out Sunday morning after 5 days and 4 nights of living in the storefront windows of 100 East Main.  It was pretty dern intense but seems they had a good time and met lots of great folks.  Read their blogs...images and stories are posted there.  They emerged on Sunday and have since taken showers, slept in their own beds, cooked in their own kitchens, and picked back up with art-making and writing in the comfort of their own private studios.  Back to reality and on to the next projects...bowling balls and the Halloween party...because as you should know by now...things don't slow down around here.

"The Nightmare before Dickens of a Christmas" is tonight (Wednesday October 31st at 8pm) and will be a blast.  Put on a costume and come on over.  5 bucks will grant you entry to a killer dance party slash costume contest slash fun-filled Halloween bash. The AIRs have been planning their costumes for weeks and I'll just tell you they are going as a very scary set of four characters.  Can't say exactly what they will be but I will tell you that they will not be the four seasons (hotel or time of year), the four tops, the fab four, the four elements, the four corner states, four 49ers, 4 days and 5 nights, four noble truths, or four 4x4's...although those would've been cool too.     Anyway - I guess what I'm trying to say is - join us!

Other happenings...bowling ball art.  If you haven't heard of it yet; you will.  Our AIRs and about 25 other local artists are turning bowling balls into works of art that we'll auction off during a HUB-BUB Bowl-O-Rama on December 10th to celebrate the PBA's national tournament WHICH IS BEING HELD IN SPARKLE CITY.  Man oh man.  More to come about that soon.

That's it for now.  See ya next week...
