Hubbublin' till the sun comes up...
Hubbubblin Last week was a week of Hubbublin' like nobody's business!!  Of course Tuesday night's election was exciting.  Wednesday was pie education night.  In other words: the history of pie over a piece of pie (or several pieces of pie).  Thursday night was Patrick's poetry reading at Wofford.  He joined 4 Wofford faculty members for an hour of beautiful poetry readings to a full house of Wofford students and community members.  He did a great job (as always) and read 2 poems I had not heard yet...one about the ac units that are disturbing Hampton Heights and another about a trip to Johnson City he recently took.  Friday, the AIRs headed up to Rock Hill for a juried show at Winthrop.  Saturday they took a field trip to the McColl Center in Charlotte and Sunday they went to a gallery crawl in Asheville.  Woah!

This week is slowing down a little (although I think I said that last week).  Patrick will be at Wofford.  When you see him next, please congratulate him on an offer to teach another class in the spring.  If you haven't seen any of the images that Jonas has been projecting on the building across the street from Hub-Bub, make sure to keep your eyes open next time you drive by.  Sarah is planning another big installation for downtown Spartanburg.  Ellie and Jonas are working with COLORS kids.  More info on the exhibit from that class soon.  Well...that's it for now.  The AIRs and I are headed to a Rotary Club to talk HB.

See ya when I do.
