Wow - time is flying!  I can't believe that it's November already.  Halloween seems like old news but it was just a week ago.  Do you recognize the folks in the picture?  Those are our AIRs dressed up in traditional Halloween costumes.  They were very scary.  Terrifying even.  "The Nightmare before Dickens of a Christmas" was truly amazing - dancing, costume contests, great food...we all had a blast.  And then...it was over!  In the course of a week, The Showroom went from a gallery space filled with sculptures and paintings/prints by local artists to a gallery space draped in black fabric and filled with big orange lanterns, Hoondirt sculptures, and electric green trees to a gallery space exhibiting the work of Andrew Blanchard and Teresa Prater.  Man oh man....

and then there's Derya's knitting class which was last night - Nicholas' figure drawing class which is tonight (Wednesday) - Talk20 on Saturday.  I am constantly amazed at the versatility of this tiny space.

Aside from all of the events mentioned above, the AIRs have been very busy lately.  Their bowling balls were turned in yesterday - seems they spent the weekend knitting, felting, tranferring, and glueing things together to turn their bowling balls into true works of art.  They are all amazing!  We are headed to the Day School today to help a group of local artists paint Griffins for an SDS fundraiser.  Rachel was at Spartan High yesterday and is headed to Cannon's Elementary on Friday to speak to students there.

I guess I'm trying to say...it's been a busy few weeks around here.  Thanks to the AIRs for all of their constant hard work.  See you next week...
