Get excited because this is just a small sampling of what you have to look forward to at the HUB-BUB Bowl-O-Rama on Monday night (December 10th).  Our artists-in-residents along with 28 other talented artists have turned bowling balls into amazing works of art.  This little beauty belongs to Derya.  We'll have a silent auction from 7-9 pm.  You won't want to miss it.  Also - come out for BYOA on Saturday night.  Some of our AIRs will have their work for sale beside a bunch of other local artists.  Just in time for the holidays!  Oh - if you haven't seen them already, check out the bowling balls on www.flickr.com/photos/hub-bub/

Things picked up right where we left off after Thanksgiving break.  Arielle is working on her  glass paintings.  She celebrated her big 2-3 in the burg yesterday (Tuesday).  Wahoo!  Derya had flown up to the northeast to visit friends, grad schools and residency programs.  She is now back safe and sound in the warmth and comfort of Sparkle City.  Nicholas is painting and getting geared up for BYOA.  Rachel is on the brink of finishing the manuscript for HCWP.  Good job Rachel!  Grad school, fellowship and residency deadlines are approaching for everybody.  It really makes you think of all the good work that's been done over the past 6 months...the AIR entrance show, Derya's potluck dinners and knitting classes, Nicholas' drawing classes, Rachel's manuscript, Arielle and Rachel's week of living in the windows downtown, Nicholas and Derya's art show at Cannons Elementary, the Art Mart...the list goes on and we have lots more to look forward to.  Thanks guys for your hard work.  See you next week.
