The opening on Friday night was great! Thanks to everyone who came out to show their support for the new residents. The art on the walls looks fantastic! Jameelah’s reading was beautiful. We had a big crowd and three past AiRs were in attendance! If you missed the opening, you can still come by between now and July 26th to check out their work. You won’t be disappointed.

Now we’re moving on to another project…the AiR vs. AiR Make-athon Smack Down! It’ll happen on July 16th – the night of the July Art Walk. More details to follow but basically, we’ll have two teams of Artists-in-Residence competing to see who has the most stamina for making artwork. Think of it as an artistic dance-off; teams start making work and don't stop until they can't make anymore!
