Sorry for the skipped post last week. It was a doozy. On Monday we hosted the Alliance of Artist Communities Emerging Program Institute…thanks Caitlin and Russ. I got to enjoy a 2nd day in Charlotte at the McColl Center on Tuesday – amazing! Wednesday we had a visit from the Warhol Foundation. Pretty exciting to have them scoping our place out. SO – my week was full of conferencing, writing grants, and going through stacks of artist-in-residence applications. I’m still doing that now. The residents have been busy too…

First – kudos to Dr. Whitfill for a beautiful reading last night in The Showroom. His new work is lovely – so is his older work. Jonas is headed to Philadelphia on Thursday to see his work which is now a part of the West Collection. Big deal. Congrats Mr. Criscoe. Ellie and Sarah are working on the ballet set. Mark your calendars for March 21st. And mark your calendars for March 19th – that’s their exit show at HUB-BUB and the March art walk downtown.
