The Art Mart and good Junk Sale last Saturday was a hit!  The weather was perfect and with all that was going on around town, we had a lot of folks come out to support local artists and to support Hub-Bub.  Thanks everybody!  We'll do it again in the fall.  Other stuff...Arin from Four Eyed Monsters is living in Derya's apartment until May 23rd.  He arrived in Spartanburg on Sunday after a brief stint in LA.  You may have seen him wandering the streets of our town with his tini little video camera.  Can't wait to see some of his footage.  I've been dressing nicer and speaking with perfect grammer since his arrival.  The Southern accent has increased significantly too.  Gotta represent the Dirty South!  Please come by and meet him...he rocks. 

There's lots of other stuff going on around here.  Breaking Away (bike film) will be showing on Thursday and the Wishing Chair show on Friday.  I've got the week off next week but will be by on Wednesday when we screen Four Eyed Monsters.   I'm headed to Philly next weekend for some r-n-r and to visit friends.  I'll also be documenting the amazing murals that cover that city.  Wouldn't it be cool to have a program like this around here?  Food for thought. www.muralarts.org/
