A Day in the Life...

A Day in the Life
First...have you been checking out the new Hubbubblog?  Just look to the top banner of the Hub-Bub website and you'll see a link which will lock you in to a slew of regular riveting rants, raves and ramblings by Hub-Bub staff.  Check it out.  In AIR news...we're off to a great start!  Ellie, Jonas, Patrick and Sarah arrived in Spartanburg last week and have hit the ground running!  The past 7 days have been chocked full of getting settled, photo shoots in 1,000 degree weather, social stuff and just getting situated.  A few important stats for you...(1) the number of times Sarah Witt has gone to the Home Depot to buy hardware for in-house swingset  = 12+ (2) the number of references made to coleslaw on Saturday night (including "coleslaw trains", "coleslaw baths" and "coleslaw eating contests" = 98* (3) the number of total hours Ellie and Sarah spent dancing to Justin Townes Earl at the Music Camp = 2 (4) estimated number of glitter pieces on JOnas' face Monday morning = 23+/-

The new AIRs arrived in Spartanburg with a lot of energy and an enthusiasm to tackle what lies ahead.  Good thing because we have a lot going on.  This week is their first week "on schedule" which means (a) the basics...blogging, bartending, gallery clean-up, attending meetings; (b) the first community project...they'll be presenting about their art and writing to students from Andrew Blanchard and Sam Howie's summer camp on Wednesday night; (c) MAKING!  The AIR Entrance Show is just a few weeks away and these folks have big plans.  I'll tell you more about that later.

See ya soon...
