Arin Crumley and Susan Buice made a feature length film called Four Eyed Monsters that tells the true story of how they met online and how he stalked her at her work. They ended up dating but with a rule to never speak in person. Their lives and minds began to meld and their fantasies and fears manifested as they became a living breathing Four Eyed Monster. visit the site

Arin and Susan have come to Spartanburg from Brooklyn, NY to live in the Artist-In-Residence studios at HUB-BUB for a few weeks prior to the screening of Four Eyed Monsters. During this time they will be filming HUB-BUB events and getting familiar with the Spartanburg community.

Breaking Away is an Oscar-winning 1979 classic that has remained the crowning film for cycling culture for the last thirty years. In addition to the Oscar for Best Writing, it won 9 additional awards, including Best Motion Picture from Golden Globes, and was nominated for 9 other awards. Starring a young Dennis Quaid it tells the story of a rivalry between four high-school graduates and the arrogant college students of a small Midwestern town.
This film is a part of the Wheels & Reels film series co-sponsored by Partners For Active Living as part of National Bike Month.

The Showroom is currently hosting Carnival. The exhibit features paintings, photography and mixed-media works consisting of imagery that includes ferris wheels, clowns, acrobats, elephants and funnel cakes.
The artists represented in the show are from Mississippi, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Illinois and South Carolina. They are Danita Beck, Emily Erb, Robin Schwartzman, Lane Last, Diana Corvelle, Andrea Murrill, Antonio Martinez and Billy Liner.

arts in and around our hometown of Spartanburg, South
Carolina.
- emphasize the importance of a healthy, diverse and vibrant
arts community to a growing city.
- expose the community to non-traditional and progressive art and artists
- support local musicians, songwriters, writers, performers and artists
- to provide a central hub where creative minds come together to meet, share, work, watch, and collaborate.
