The Airs Are Not Going to the Prom

The week calmed down for the AIR's a little after the Entrance Show but there's still been enough going on to keep everyone pretty busy.  Arielle headed out of town for a few days so the mighty four were separated for the first time since their arrival.  It was kinda sad without her here - thankfully she returned on Monday.  Highlight of the weekend was the Dixie Hummingbirds show on Saturday night.  Those guys are amazing and so was the crowd.  Sunday was the veggie feast - mmmm.  So good, the police even showed up.

So - the week of the fourth has been somewhat quiet.  The artists collected Arielle from Charlotte and she's been putting her life back together ever since...running to the bank, tending to much needed car maintenance, grocery shopping, etc.  Derya took a knitting field trip to Campobello with one of her new friends from the Knitter's Guild.  Nicholas has been print making in his khaki Dikies jumpsuit and drinking copious amounts of coffee.  Rachel's been helping out with some HCWP stuff and planning her birthday extravaganza.  Tuesday night we attended a lovely cocktail party thanks to our good friends the Walkers.  Our AIRS were lookin' good (see "not the prom" pic).  Thank you, thank you, thank you Melissa and Chuck for fabulous food, wonderful wine, and captivating conversations.  The dates were especially delicious.

The AIRs enjoyed a "good, bad, and ugly" tour of Sparkle City on the 4th: compliments of Gary Henderson.  We all know he's a darn good writer but from what I hear, he may have missed his calling.  Thanks Gary!

That's it for now.  Stay tuned for another exciting update sometime next week.
