Friday night is music night at The Showroom (with the exception of an occasional special weeknight event). We host a wide variety of events, including monthly jam sessions, local band showcases, regional and national acts. Genres run the gamut: from Americana to alternative, from rock to R&B, from singer-songwriter to ska, there is something for everyone!
Some of our events are all ages; some are 18 or 21 and up. Please check the event schedule to find out.
We book three months in advance, but be aware that we can only handle
about three dozen performances a year. A committee of Hub-bub staff and
volunteers makes these selections.
Our venue has a capacity of up to 125 seated and another 50-75 standing. Our gear includes full PA with sound engineer available. The stage is 18 feet wide by 14 feet deep.

We are always looking for great talent, whether you are a seasoned veteran or an up-and-coming artist. In an effort to keep you or your band from being lost in the vast digital wasteland, we prefer old-fashioned press kits which should include a demo CD with at least 3 songs, photos and bios (this can also be a CD - jpg photos please.)
If you are unable to provide this, please send us an email with an EPK (electronic press kit) or your bandís URL to stephen@hub-bub.com. This email must have the following in the subject line: Booking ñ Band Name ñ Requested Date (ex: Booking ñ The Beatles ñ 8/12). Other information about your band can appear in the email. We are probably overwhelmed with requests already, so please do not attempt to follow up by telephone. We will do our best to get back with you within three weeks.
