What was once an old Nash Rambler car dealership is now the front line of creative culture in downtown Spartanburg, S.C. HUB-BUB offers more than 100 nights of art and entertainment a year in the Showroom Gallery and Performance Hall. Check out our event calendar for concerts, film, progressive art exhibits, experimental theatre, workshops, community forums and more.

HUB-BUB also hosts one of the nation's most innovative Artist-in-Residence programs. Emerging young artists come to us from all over the country to live upstairs, make their art, and interact with Spartanburg in inventive ways. Follow their experiences with this site's weekly AIR Journal and the four artists' blogs.

HUB-BUB is a program of HubCulture, a non-profit organization building community through dynamic art and ideas.

  Last week's Entry Show was awesome!  Thanks AIRs for all of your hard work.  Entry Shows in the past have exhibited work that residents used when applying to the program.  This year's show consisted of a mix of some older work but a good bit of brand new work too.  Thanks to everyone who came out to show your support.  Like I said in the blog, there were lots of folks here of all ages and everybody seemed to have a real nice time.  And...another thank you to everyone in the community who donated fabric, lumber, paint, soil, television monitors and all of the other obscure things that we needed to pull this thing off.  I'm sure we'll be calling again soon...
