H.O.R.S.E.

Sunday night's basketball free throw competition during the college faculty cookout at HUB-BUB seemed to be momentarily inspirational to a lot of HUB-BUB folk.  Following the nail biting competition between Mirko, Chuck and Will (congrats Mirko); an intense game of horse began.  With over 15 players, this game promised to be an epic event of Olympic proportions.  However, excitement quickly fizzled as players shot air ball after air ball.  Clearly, the goal and court is not to regulation.  Thanks Jonas for pulling that thing together.  And thanks to all college faculty/staff and HUB-BUB folks who came out last night to enjoy an end of summer cookout.  A good time was had by all.

This week looks busy for the AIRs.  Ellie gets back from Ohio today.  She and Jonas are getting geared up to work with the COLORS program.  Jonas and Sarah submitted their letters for the ABC Show which opens in The Showroom on September 5th.  The garden looks good.  A Seay House proposal is in the works.  Patrick is helping out with HCWP readings.  Sarah is drying bamboo for the tipi village.  Of course there's always a lot of art/writing going on upstairs...people are making it, reading/writing it.  Lots of good stuff.  See ya next week.
