What is Snapshot Spartanburg?

* A community photo project with an even playing field: each of the lucky 100 participants get a 27-exposure
disposable camera in exchange for a mere $20 entry fee.
* All cameras will be distributed at HUB-BUB beginning at 7pm on October 6 at SnapYap, an evening with four
  local photographers.
* What is SnapYap? Well, show up from 7pm – 8pm on October 6 to hear local photographers Ian Curcio,  Alex Hicks, Mark Olencki and Carroll Foster discuss their work for 15 minutes each. They will also give advice
on how to get great results with your disposable camera for the upcoming Snapshot Spartanburg community
  photo project.
* Pick up your camera at SnapYap or at HUB-BUB anytime from 9am-5pm weekly until October 29th.
* Shoot all your pictures on REAL film.
* Return your camera to HUB-BUB by November 1st at 5pm.
* All photos will be printed and exhibited in 4 x 6" format at The Showroom at HUB-BUB.
* All photos will also be shown in a revolving slideshow on the big screen at The Showroom during the exhibit
  opening event.
* 10 lucky winners will have their photos enlarged to 11 x 17" in the exhibit.
* Three grand prizes will be distributed in the form of Holga cameras.
* The opening of the exhibit will be on the night of November 13 at 7pm. Grand prize winners will be announced
  at this BIG, FUN party.
